I made this album Valentines 2014 and am only just getting around to posting it now. It's similar to a previous album I made here, filled with love notes. I wanted to make an actual mini scrapbook this time, and may have gone a little overboard with the amount of pages haha. 32 pages. I made it by placing 2 folded pages (5x14in) together and stitching down the middle to make a little book of 8 pages (5x7in). I made 4 of those and glued the spines together, then stitched them together and covered the spine with a piece of patterned paper and masking tape. Then I had fun collecting photos, embellishments and quotes to create this album. These are my favorite pages.
After hours of searching for inspiration for a valentines gift, I came across a blog with book of notes by oh, hello friend. I figured it would be perfect since I wanted to write a love letter anyway, so I could put that into an envelope.
So I searched through my stash of products, even old stuff I constantly forget about, and love quotes etc on pinterest, and this is what I came up with.
I love looking through this book and flipping up bits and pulling things out lol.

I also made him this card. I didn't realise how hard it is to make a lovey dovey girly kind of card for a guy lol. I took the photo while we were setting up for our romantic outside dinner.
I made this mini album in October last year and I'm finally getting round to posting it. I like making albums for friends birthdays that people can sign, so when my boyfriends 21st was coming up I knew I had to make him one. I wanted to make an album that had plenty of pages for people to write on and plenty of space for photos, and I didn't want it to end up bulky. So after searching for inspiration, I came across this tutorial here. It's basically how to make your own Amy Tangerine day book. It looked so awesome that I just had to make my own, so here's photos of it before I gave it to my bf.
I just had to ad a birthday badge for him to wear lol
I attached a cd sleeve at the back so that he could edit the videos I took and make a little movie

I loved how it turned out and how quick and easy it was to make. I have a few mini albums in mind to make and I'll definitely be using this idea again.
A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary. We went to a 5 star restaurant for dinner and stayed at a fancy hotel in town. Expensive but worth it, lol.
I amde Sam this '10 things I love about you' mini album. It's 3x4" and made from 1 piece of cardstock. I used this tutorial here. So simple and cute.

On the back, my 'made with love' stamp pretty much failed. Oh well.
And since I'd just done 'fast moving consumer goods' packaging at course, I decided to make him a chocolate box as well. I bought an existing chocolate box, pulled it apart and made a template/dieline in Adobe Illustrator. Then I sneakily printed it onto good paper during class.
I finished this about 2-3 weeks ago. Overall I'm kinda happy with how it turned out. I really wanted to use stitching but didn't want it to show up on the other side. All he pages are bound together with masking tape, so it doesn't fold out flat but still opens up nicely.
Happy International Scrapbooking Day
