I made this layout yesterday in just a few hours. Normally it takes me a few days to finish one lol.

I made it for a sketch contest over at Scrappin' Patch.

The photos of a heart I drew on a wooden sculpture thingy. It's hidden from the rain so it should last a long time, kinda curious to see what it looks like now, a month and a bit later.

In November I took the Studio Calico Cut It Out class. My first scrapbooking class ever lol. I took part in 2 of the challenges and created these layouts.

I made a title cut which I thought I'd share. You can find the link further down.

Enjoy and TFL

I had an awesome time last year studying Diploma of Computer Graphic Design.
It was interesting to see myself improving as the year went on, and how much I've improved since the short course I did in 2011.

This was my last project, where I was free to do whatever I wanted. I chose to design promotional products for a craft store I made up ages ago called Moore Crafts. It includes a shopping bag, brochure, business card, sticker sheet (made with my Silhouette), set of greeting cards, flyer and mini magazine.

The flyer and business card.

I made an ad campaign for Arnotts Tiny Teddy's.

This is the ad shel.

This was my first assignment for which I designed a craft event poster. It was printed on kraft paper.

And lastley, my magazine. I'm really proud of this one. It's also a huge improvement from the first one I made in 2011 here. And the insides of this embellished magazine can be found here.

I made this magazine in July for my contempory magazine assignment and I've finally got around to putting it on Issuu. My course finished on the 12th of this month. I celebrated by seeing Russell Brand Live on the 13th lol, and got his autograph.

I didn't realise until now that the title is yellow with a white background. It has something to do with the gloss overlay layer that I put on it. I'll get round to fixing it eventually lol.

I've been busy with the last few weeks of my course, but I managed to squeeze in a layout for a competition, here. Based on this sketch with the theme of 'friends'.

These photos are from my 20th a few years ago and I've finally got round to scrapbooking them, lol.

tfl.

A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary. We went to a 5 star restaurant for dinner and stayed at a fancy hotel in town. Expensive but worth it, lol.

I amde Sam this '10 things I love about you' mini album. It's 3x4" and made from 1 piece of cardstock. I used this tutorial here. So simple and cute.

On the back, my 'made with love' stamp pretty much failed. Oh well.

And since I'd just done 'fast moving consumer goods' packaging at course, I decided to make him a chocolate box as well. I bought an existing chocolate box, pulled it apart and made a template/dieline in Adobe Illustrator. Then I sneakily printed it onto good paper during class.

I finally got round to making a how to video. I've been meaning to for ages. I made this layout as I went along and it only took about 2 hours. So proud of my self because normally it takes me a few nights to complete one and I have to get everything sorted and chosen before I even begin to think about gluing stuff down. So I think this is the motivation I need to get scrapbooking done, since I never really seem to do much lately. Maybe I should make some Project Life videos, I'm 4 months behind on that. I used Adobe Premiere Pro and my boyfriend had to teach me how to use it, I had no idea how to use any video editing programmes for a Mac. Ar I miss the simpleness of Windows Movie Maker lol.
